Last night we had a bit of an accident. I woke up at 12:30AM to find Father laying on the floor with poop on the floor, his butt, his legs, and his nappy. I cleaned him up and put him to bed. Then, a few hours later, he peed the bed, so I changed him out and put him to bed again. His nappy was completely full.
The homecare nurse suggested a ‘condom catheter’. It’s basically a condom-like thing with a tube and a bag to hold urine. I’d like to go shopping for this and a few other things – like slippers for me, a steam cleaner for the floors here, a knife sharpener (no point in having knives if they don’t do anything), and a motion sensor web cam for Father’s room.
