{"id":27,"date":"2019-09-03T09:38:00","date_gmt":"2019-09-03T16:38:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lesjohnston.allansplace.ca\/?p=27"},"modified":"2023-03-16T19:03:18","modified_gmt":"2023-03-17T02:03:18","slug":"house-sold-server-offline","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lesjohnston.allansplace.ca\/index.php\/2019\/09\/03\/house-sold-server-offline\/","title":{"rendered":"house sold, server offline"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<p>Hi everybody.<\/p>\r\n<p>Firstly, I want to tell everyone that Father&#8217;s memorial \/ update website has not been taken down.\u00a0 My <a href=\"http:\/\/og.allansplace.ca\/2019\/09\/03\/when-things-go-wrong-aka-cursed-server\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">server crashed<\/a>, and I lost the ability to post any updates.\u00a0 I tried my best to get it running again, but it was beyond my control.<!--more--><\/p>\r\n<p>The contract for sale of the house is signed.\u00a0 Closing date is November 1, 2019.<\/p>\r\n<p>All the belongings in the house, shop, and yard are distributed or sold, including the Case skid steer, truck, and tandem axle trailer.<\/p>\r\n<p>Thank you to Kelly, Lou, and John for helping out so much in getting things at the house cleaned up, sorted, recycled, dumped, etc.\u00a0 Without your help, I&#8217;d still be there.\u00a0 I was happy to see everybody there, like Isobel, Pete, Barry, and everyone else.<\/p>\r\n<p>For those hoping to attend a Celebration of Life, I&#8217;m sorry that it did not happen.\u00a0 Many people saw that I was in Rosedale for a few weeks and dropped by to visit and talk about and remember Father.\u00a0 Thank you for that.\u00a0 You honour him by your visits, by taking a few things with you, and by keeping in touch.\u00a0 We all have to have our own way of closure.<\/p>\r\n<p>I will be doing the rest from here, Lethbridge.\u00a0 Feel free to contact me if you need to.<\/p>\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi everybody.
